Millions of pounds raised by Live Aid was spent on weapons, it has been claimed. Money donated to buy food for Ethiopian famine victims was instead used by rebel leaders who used it to buy weapons. Sir Bob Geldof's Live Aid raised £40million for those starving in Ethiopia, along with other charities who also sent over aid. Read Full Story≫

Azeb Mesfin, wife of dictator Meles, is now deputy head of the TPLF organization called Endowment Fund For Rehabilitation of Tigray (EFFORT). EFFORT runs a large number of businesses that were established using loans from the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). These loans, which almost bankrupted the CBE. And I am suspicious that the food aid might be directed this and personal account.
